Apple Music, Shazam and Apple Maps Integrations

Learn how to connect your Apple Music artist page to Bandsintown and expand your reach through Apple’s concert discovery tools.

Bandsintown partners with Apple to help artists promote their live shows across Apple Music, Shazam, Apple Maps, and Spotlight Search. With your Apple Music artist page URL, your events will appear across these platforms, making it easier for fans to discover and attend your shows.

How to Connect Your Apple Music Artist Page to Bandsintown

Follow these steps to link your Apple Music artist page and activate concert visibility across Apple platforms:

  1. Log in to your Bandsintown for Artists dashboard or create an account for free

  2. Go to Integrations

  3. Click Connect next to Apple Music

  4. Paste your Apple Music artist page URL and click Connect to save

  5. Visit the Events section and make sure all your upcoming shows are listed.

    • If your events are not listed, you can add them manually or wait for your ticketing partner to sync them.

  6. Once connected, your events will begin appearing on Apple Music, Shazam, and Apple Maps within 24–48 hours.

Please note: You must have at least one event listed in your Bandsintown account for this integration to work

How to Find Your Apple Music Artist Page URL

You can find your Apple Music URL either on the web or using the Apple Music app:

On the Web:

  1. Go to music.apple.com and search for your artist name.

  2. Click on your artist profile.

  3. Copy the URL from your browser.

On the Apple Music App:

  1. Navigate to your artist profile.

  2. Tap the three dots (•••) in the top-right corner.

Select Share Artist to copy the URL to your clipboard.


Apple Music Set Lists

With Apple Music Set Lists, you can turn your past or upcoming performances into curated playlists using your Apple Music tracks. Fans can listen to your live set, get excited about your tour, and relive their concert experience.

How to Create a Set List:

Set Lists are created via Apple Music for Artists on the web.


Apple Maps

Apple Maps uses Bandsintown data to showcase live events happening at music venues.

Where Events Appear:

  1. When fans search for venues, they can tap the Tickets button in the business listing.

  2. Selecting Shazam reveals upcoming concerts at the venue.

  3. Tapping an event opens more info, ticket links, and a link to your Bandsintown event page.

To ensure visibility, make sure your Apple Music artist URL is connected on the Integrations page


Apple Maps Guides

Apple Maps features over 65 city-specific Guides highlighting top music venues. Users can browse by genre, city, or scene and tap Find out more to view concerts powered by Bandsintown data.


Spotlight Search on iPhone

Fans can use Spotlight Search to discover your concerts by searching your name directly from their iPhone home screen.

When your Apple Music URL is connected and your events are live in Bandsintown, Spotlight Search will show:

  • Your upcoming show dates

  • Dedicated concert cards linked to your Bandsintown event page
